Ocean Valley
Sysav is part of Ocean Valley, a cross-border collaboration initiative supporting the development of carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) in the Øresund region.
Within the project, Swedish partners are coordinated by Sustainable Business Hub as part of the CCUS Center of Excellence.
In January 2026, Ocean Valley and ten Danish and Swedish partners secured funding from the EU programme Interreg Øresund Kattegat Skagerrak for a three-year flagship project aimed at accelerating CCUS development across the region. The initiative connects actors across capture, transport, storage, and utilisation to strengthen cooperation and enable shared infrastructure solutions.
Through Ocean Valley, Sysav contributes to building a coordinated regional platform for large-scale carbon management and supports the development of long-term conditions for projects such as SkyZero in southern Scandinavia.
